This Refund Policy describes when and how you may receive a refund of tuition or fees paid to SiliconCoder. It applies to all enrollments unless your enrollment agreement specifies different terms (in which case the enrollment agreement controls).
1. Right to cancel before the program starts
You may cancel your enrollment for any reason before your cohort’s start date and receive a full refund of any tuition or deposit paid. Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to admissions@siliconcoder.example.
2. Refund schedule after the program starts
If you withdraw after the program has started, the following schedule applies, calculated from the official cohort start date:
- Through the end of Week 2: 100% refund of tuition.
- End of Week 3 through end of Week 4: 50% refund of tuition.
- After Week 4: no refund of tuition. Tuition is earned.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 days of our receipt of your written withdrawal notice.
3. Non-refundable items
The following are non-refundable once incurred:
- Application fees, if any.
- Third-party fees paid on your behalf (for example, Salesforce certification exam vouchers we have already purchased).
- Course materials shipped or licensed to you that cannot be returned.
4. Cohort cancellation or rescheduling by SiliconCoder
If we cancel a cohort or materially change its schedule before it starts, you may choose to (a) enroll in the next available cohort at no additional cost, or (b) receive a full refund of all tuition and fees paid for that cohort.
5. Dismissal for cause
If we dismiss you for violations of our Terms of Service, including code-of-conduct breaches, refunds (if any) are determined according to the refund schedule above based on the date of dismissal.
6. Certification exam outcomes
Tuition is not refundable based on the outcome of any Salesforce certification exam. We do not control or administer Salesforce exams. Our voucher commitment is described on our Certifications page.
7. How to request a refund
Send a written refund request to admissions@siliconcoder.example that includes:
- Your full name and cohort.
- The date you wish your withdrawal to be effective.
- A brief reason for withdrawal (optional, but helpful to us).
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete processing within 30 days.
8. State-specific rights
If you reside in a state with additional refund rights for postsecondary or vocational training (for example, California, New York, and others), those rights apply in addition to this policy. Where state law provides a greater refund than this policy, state law controls.
